Yes, I know, this is late. Like 2 years late, tough. Anyways, life is going good for me in every possible way. As of the conclusion of this semester I will be but a mere 13 hours or so from graduating. However, due to an internship this summer that is likely to drop to around 7! I can't wait, it's been a long journey but the finish line is just down this straightaway.
Speaking of internships I think it's going to be fun. I am probably going to be working with one of my cousin's who is an engineer in the Ft. Worth area and who knows, maybe a job comes with it.
As for sports, well I'm getting tired of everybody fighting over money and things. I mean you make million up on millions of dollars and complaining because you're wanting more? How about you take pay cuts and lower ticket prices? Or better yet you could just quit and see what it's like when no one takes your crap.
Anyways, this is a brief update, I just found my two blogs (other is Midnight Review) and decided to start working at them some more. Who knows, maybe I'll advertise it and get followers?
Until next time, you stay classy.

Latest...
Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a while. Just thought I'd let you know about the updates going on in my life.
Two days ago was my dad's birthday. He would've been 47, however, he passed away 11 years ago. I miss him greatly.
I have just over one week left in my second year of college, I'm excited! This is a great time in my life and I hope others in my position are enjoying it.
I will be taking classes in the summer to get ahead in my studies; should be fun.

American Future and Past
Let me sum this up for you nicely.
America has always been a country based on the safety and welcoming of its citizens. We have always been known as the "Police of the Free World". Well, that America is no more. America of today is; in debt, stretched thin militarily, and have just elected a new President.
No, the president isn't the problem. Nor is it the fact that he is a Liberally leaning Democratic African-American. The problem is that our country is the most vulnerable we've been in well over 50 years. Forever even.
What can fix that? The president and other government officials to sort and prioritize the steps to recover and restore the "sleeping giant" that is, America. If done correctly America will once again rise to be the power that it once was and be an arm and a leg above the rest of the world. Until then, we should be careful at who we associate ourselves with and to keep our land safe.
What will happen if our government fails to do this? People will constantly take advantage of our weaknesses, and eventually isolate us.
The consequence? America will continue to suffer economically and the military will not have the ability to remain "state of the art". So with that, we can say, "goodbye freedom".

American Policy and Future.
What is America coming to? Why is it like this? Do we really have a democracy?
Simple questions, right? Well let me tell you.
America is in a new state for our future. We've had a woman run for president, an African-American run for president. All in the same elections! 2 groups of people who just 50 years ago didn't really have any voting power nor a chance at public office. Now, they are running for President, the highest office in our country, and they actually have a legit chance at winning. If not this year, then in the near future. Our future is going to only get better (aside from the economy), so we need to just focus on the current events and try to appease them the best we can. Eventually everything is bound to get better, right?
Not so fast. America is in the largest debt in nation history, and all with no end in sight. What are we doing to fix it? We are going to war, continuously buying resources from other countries that we have here at home. The government is currently debating for us to start drilling in America seeing as how we have enough oil to power our country for 40 years. Why not do it while we find an alternative fuel supply? It won't hurt us really and will help ween us off the tit of other countries making us independent. Things are only going to get better in this aspect (economics) of the country unless we start relying on our own resources while we find artificial resources.
In my Federal Government class I read ahead and found out that of all the democracies in the world America has the lowest voting turnout of all of them because of multiple reasons.
1) They automatically register their citizens when they reach 18, while America requires the people to do it by themselves.
2) They have Election Day. Meaning that on that day each year there is no work and the citizens are able to vote on that day without having to worry about anything else.
3) Everyone is just more active and more in-tune with what's going on.
We need to fix this for ourselves. just because we don't have an "Election Day", does not mean that we can't go out and vote.
This Generation is the one that decides the fate of the country. Where will you be?

Welcome!
Welcome! As you can tell this is my new blog. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a college student, currently studying Occupational Safety, I work at Wal-Mart, love hanging out with my friends.
I have recently (last month or so) been doing a lot of thinking on many things. Nothing in particular, just philosophy, human etiquette, behavior, and just anything really. I hope to keep this blog as up to date as possible so that anyone can read and be entertained or just to blow some time off.
I expect people that leave comments to remain respectful at all times. All I will want you to do, if need be, is to help me figure things out.
Thank you for reading this.
